Manual Handling Training
Manual handling of loads (MHL) refers to tasks such as lifting, holding, placing, pushing, pulling, or carrying loads performed by one or more workers. These activities, if carried out incorrectly, pose significant risks of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) and workplace accidents.
According to Greek legislation (Presidential Decree 397/1994, in line with EU Directive 90/269/EEC), employers are obliged to implement preventive measures to protect employees engaged in manual handling.
